HOW DID YOU MEET YOUR PARTNER?
Charlie and I met in art class in secondary school! He was in the year above and the teacher made my class go and look at the year 13's work. I asked him about his art and a few months later we were dating and have been ever since! 13 years!
WHERE DID YOU GET MARRIED?
We eloped in Vegas, just the two of us and our photographer Katy. Before we went away, we had an English garden wedding party, with all the fun bits of a wedding: free bar, good food, dancing, music, cutting the cake and a first dance! It was 30 degrees - which is wild for September in England! It was my best friend’s Dad’s garden - he offered to host our wedding party on Boxing Day last year and even though he had had one too many sherrys, he stuck to his word and gave us the best day ever!
WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE PART OF YOUR DAY?
My favourite moment of our wedding party was Charlie’s speech. Everyone was crying and it was just a moment I’ll never forget!
WHICH BEC + BRIDGE DRESS DID YOU WEAR + HOW DID YOU KNOW IT WAS THE ONE FOR YOU?
I wore the Moon Dance Strapless Dress in Ivory. I wanted something timeless and simple that I know I’ll love forever and can wear again on anniversaries! I felt so confident and comfortable in the dress - it was the best purchase I made.
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO ANY SOON-TO-BE BRIDE?
My advice is to create a wedding day (or days in our case) that feels right for you! If you want to go big, go BIG, if you want it to be intimate run off and get married just the two of you! There is no right or wrong - it’s your day!
