Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Palladio Arcadia in Sydney, Elise and Alex's wedding was inspired by the enchanting allure of an Italian Summer Soirée.
Her bridesmaids wore the Dreamer silhouettes in a custom lemon yellow hue - a thoughtful homage to the couple’s engagement in Lake Como that seamlessly intertwined with Italian-inspired details throughout the day.
HOW DID YOU AND ALEX MEET?
Alex and I met in December 2018 at Bedouin in Double Bay, I was out with a friend and she spotted Alex's mate and said we should go over to them and the rest is history!
WHERE DID YOU GET MARRIED?
Our wedding venue was the beautiful Palladio Arcadia in the Sydney Hills District. It was truly our dream venue!
WHY DID YOU PICK BEC + BRIDGE FOR YOUR BRIDAL PARTY?
I chose BEC + BRIDGE for my bridal party as they are one of my favourite brands and I always loved their bridesmaid dresses. They have many beautiful colour options, however I had my heart set on a lemon colour for my bridal party. It was the best news when I found out BEC + BRIDGE were able to make their beautiful styles in the Ice Yellow colour. I am so happy with how the dresses turned out and each different style complimented my bridesmaids so beautifully.
WHAT WAS THE INSPIRATION BEHIND THE COLOUR CHOICE?
Alex and I got engaged in Lake Como, our wedding venue reminded us of Italy, so the inspo behind going for lemon colour bridesmaid dresses (apart from loving the colour) was to tie in with our Italian Summer Soiree wedding theme. We also had hints of lemon in other styling elements.
WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE PART OF YOUR DAY?
My favourite part of the day was of course marrying the love of my life, however a highlight was sneaking off during our reception to see the most magical sunset, it was a special moment.
BIGGEST PIECE OF ADVICE FOR SOON-TO-BE BRIDES
The day goes by so fast so take it all in! Try not to stress about the little things. Make sure to eat breakfast and drink lots of water the morning of.
